How is RTK17X different from a standard rugged Android tablet?
RTK17X is designed for surveying, GIS mapping and location-based field data collection. It combines Android 12, GNSS RTK positioning, a 10.1-inch 700-nit display, IP65 protection, selectable industrial I/O and field deployment accessories in one rugged platform.
RTK17X does not use one universal RTK accuracy figure for every project. Actual positioning performance depends on the selected RTK receiver, antenna, correction source, satellite conditions and field environment, so the required accuracy should be defined with the final survey configuration.
One configurable I/O position can be ordered as RJ45 10/100M Ethernet, DB9 RS232 or an additional USB 2.0 port. Select the interface that matches the survey instrument or field equipment used in the project.
Yes. RTK17X supports a dedicated pogo docking charger for tablet charging with RJ45 and USB data connections. An optional vehicle mount is also available with RS232, RJ45, 2×USB 2.0 and 5V input for fixed field installation.
Yes. The RTK17X features a removable 10,000mAh battery, with an optional spare battery available for extended operation. Battery life can reach up to 9 hours during video playback testing, while actual field runtime may vary depending on system configuration, connectivity, screen brightness, and workload.
NFC and the front/rear cameras are included in the listed configuration. Zebra SE4710 2D barcode scanning is optional, while GNSS RTK positioning is configured around the requirements of the surveying or mapping project.
